2018 is done and we made it!
Now it’s 2019 … and we know how a new year can bring a sense of overwhelm, mixed emotions and expectations that feel scary. Everyone is talking about losing weight, creating goals and living their best life.
After loss it can be hard to think about the future and wanting to create goals.
What about creating a year of gentleness! What about creating a year that works for you!
We have created a 3-hour event at the beautiful + warm + healing BHUTI in RICHMOND to support you in you in this new year of gentleness.
We will discuss how you can create a year of gentleness by witnessing your loss, sharing stories, understanding how grief shows up for each of us, and all this within a community that understands. We are excited to guide you through a creative project to help create space for healing and sharing, incorporate moments of reflection, meditation, and guidance, and gift you with a thoughtfully curated take home bag to help start your year of gentleness. We are also honored [ and very excited ] to be partnering with Aila and Lior. Your ticket includes a beautiful deck of her supportive pregnancy loss cards.
Our intention is to hold space for you to witness, understand, and create a year that touches your soul and heart with self-compassion, love, and gentleness.

Who are Kathryn and Jenn?
Kathryn is a mum to Lucia (5 years old) and an angel mum to three babies. Kathryn is both British and American and lived in London for 10 years before recently moving to Exeter where she is a full-time primary school teacher.
A couple of years after her daughter was born, Kathryn was expecting her second child. After many scans and tests, including a CVS, the baby was diagnosed with a chromosomal abnormality. Kathryn underwent a Termination for Medical Reasons at 15 weeks. In the two years following, Kathryn has had two miscarriages and has since been passionate about raising awareness around pregnancy loss, especially working to include TFMRs in the conversation.
She is the creator of the Light and Loss Instagram community where she is passionate about building a space focused on inclusivity, storytelling, and parenting after loss. It has been instrumental in her own grief process to connect with parents who have experienced all types of pregnancy loss. She is grateful to share in the baby loss community and looks forward to meeting and supporting other loss mamas in their grief and self-care.
Jenn is an angel mum to her twin boys and her daughter Loey. She is an elementary school teacher turned yoga teacher, life coach, grief awareness educator, and coach. She is passionate about creating awareness about stillbirths, miscarriages, and infertility.
After years of infertility and miscarriages, she was excited to find out that she was pregnant with her twin boys. Sadly, she had to terminate her pregnancy because her life and her boys’ lives were in danger. After several miscarriages, IVF, Chinese herbs, diets and well everything you can think of, she started her final attempt at having a baby with IVF and EGG DONOR and got pregnant. She was excited and honored to carry her daughter Loey for 39 weeks and 5 days, and then her world changed forever and she found out that her daughter had passed away. Living life after loss is overwhelming, confusing and painful. She is a life coach who specializes in supporting mothers who have lost, women with infertility challenges and her passions are to educate the world about grief and remove the stigma.
She is the creator and curator of Loey’s Hugs Instagram community and she is extremely honored to be holding space for other angel mums and support their healing as we all start a new year.
